Hi gang! Ok, here is the Friday Element Quiz:

The Question:

This element expands during solidification which is odd behavior for a
metal and a very active topic of materials research. This element has the
highest diamagnetism of any metal. The electrical conductivity of this
element's solid phase is lower than it's liquid phase. This element is
normally nontoxic to humans but cases have been documented where bacteria
have converted pharmaceuticals containing this element from water
insoluble to water soluble compounds resulting in poisoning. This element
is produced as a by product of Cu and W mining. Who am I?

Doug is on vacation this week so we are giving away is desk chair as the
prize.

Good Luck.
