The reason there is no history of this is because the aliens who brought it
forgot it when the confiscated all the associated stuff and erased peoples
minds with a flashy thingy :-)

Are you sure, and are the scientists sure? If I take 10 stones and place 
them arbitrarlily on the ground, be sure some kind of math formula can be 
applied on it.  I'm very sceptical about 'scientifical' interpretations of 
ancient things.  IF this was such an advanced instrument, it would been 
mentioned somewhere. There are tons of papyrus's and clay tablets with 
nothing mentioned about such a miraculous machine.  Can it be a fake?  Would

not surprise me.  Many such have caused sensation before they were 
disguised.  Anyhow, it's a cool story.
