Dear all,
For a customer we have to screw an earthrail (8 cable entries with screws
M3x6, block is about 6cm long) on the componentside of the board. He uses 2
"taptide" M4x12 screws, mounted with the head on top of the earthrail,
through the rail, into the FR4 material (1,6mm)
There is no nut on the solderside.
In my opinion this isn't a reliable construction. Does any of you have some
experience or remarks concerning this matter?
Regards
Lon Weffers
