Lon,
I would not for a second rely upon such a construction. You can not torque
adequately, because of so few active threads, and also because the FR4
material is not mechanically stable , especially not when exposed to temp
cycling. The heavier the block, the less reliable. Can't see what's the
problem with std washer and nut on the solder side?
