The pins are supplied loose, and are tuning fork style Low Insertion
Force compliant pins.  There's also an insulator or housing that goes
over/around the pins.  The tuning fork slot must be aligned to accept
the mating blade connector. So I need to find or design tooling to press
pin to a set depth, at correct orientation either singly or in multiples
until the pattern is complete.  Over 300 pins with several insulator
pieces to form the connector.  I used to have what looked like an eyelet
press with a custom head to hold the pin and an X-Y table to support the
board at another company, but it was built to a customer drawing.  Was
hoping to find something off the shelf.

I'm not sure I'm understanding the q 100%. We install pressfit
connectors 
with hundreds of pins by means of a machine that operates partly with
air 
pressure.
