Torsten,
About the only coating family that "might" work, aside from Parylene,
would be an epoxy based. If you use an epoxy base, then it would be a
throw away kind of assembly. No rework.

Graham Collins had suggested the Henkel Macromelt, but I think your 135C
autoclave condition, which I assume is happening each time you wash it,
may have a long term effect. The macromelts are a form of polyamide
(nylons), which might degrade.

Overall, I think Parylene is your best bet, primarily because it is
already well established in the medical field.

[TN] Coating

Hi Technetters,

looking for an conformal coating for electronics used in medical
application. The small electronic should be able to pass 1000 cycles
washing and cleaning process with ph=13 plus 20 minutes autoclave 135°C @
2bar.

1st idea is parylene coating, any cheaper or better ideas?

Regards,
Torsten
