Jack, you are presenting some good support for Werner's assertation that the
slash sheets aren't good enough. Don't worry about them, focus on the specs
of the material. Didn't you mention a rather wide in service temperature
range? CTE and CAF resistance are going to be important after you ship
boards that make it through reflow.
Too many vendors do like to focus only on Tg and Td. Which I suppose
should make us happy that they have progressed beyond just Tg. This is why
we have a short number of approved fab vendors, and we request material
data sheets for anything they prefer to use. I would rather they narrow down
the list to what they are comfortable with, we'll approve or reject from that
list.
