I don't know your habits. Very few have a GFI two feet from their body half 
an hour each morning and each  afternoon.
What I think of costs only 10 cents each. A GFI several dollars.
A thread:  it's spring loaded with a weakened middle section.
And most people use S words when they try to find its placement.
