Geng Yu,

In general the stencil tension may only be measured in the support mesh
area.

Measurements on the foil will vary from stencil to stencil depending on the
foil thickness and different types of foil, as well as depending on the
tension in the support mesh.

Subject: [TN] stenicl tension per stencil thickness

Hi Technet team,

I'm SMT process engineer, now I encountered 1 question for stencil tension,

Can you do me a favor?

my company stencil tension standard is >=35N, but this standard was defined
at 5years ago,

At that time no stencil thickness is 3mils, now we used 3mils stencil, we
measured the stencil tension is lower than 35N, so I want to know if the
stencil tension is related the stencil foil thickness, and what is the
stencil tension standard per stencil thickness,

Thanks!

Best wishes

Geng Yu
