All,

I am looking for some design guidelines for manual insertion of through hole
components. In particular, clearances to allow access for manual insertion.

We have a product design that has a large module soldered to the PCB and
some through hole components must be installed afterwards that are very
close to the module. I would like to find some design standards to prevent this
situation in the future. It seems to be an ergonomic issue but I have not been
able to find anything in my searches.

Regards,

Brian
