John, a possible solution would be to buy a small refurbished machine. I did 
some years ago. Got a tiny  one for a very favorable sum. We used it for 
small series before we bought a larger machine. Very useful for many a 
products, especially for boards with large BGAs mixed with various large 
plastic leg packages /Inge
