All,

We've done this for over ten years, produced hundreds of thousands of
assemblies, and have never had a customer or market return because of
the process.

Not to say it couldn't happen, but it hasn't yet.

I know of several places that are coating over no-clean on entire  
assemblies as well as reworked or hand-soldered areas.  The key in hand
soldering 
is to minimize the quantity of flux as much as possible.
