I have carried out this operation several times and when done correctly it was well. Be sure you strip down to the copper.

  Hi All,

  One batch of immersion Ag bare pcb boards in stock need to rework surface finish. Is it ok to strip immersion Ag and then recoat with OSP? Is such reworking acceptable by IPC spec or any quality&reliability degradation? Thanks.
