While on the topic, we must not forget to mention Administratium. (see below) There is hope for the discovery ways to increase production of the increasingly rare element Commonsensium. It is hoped, if it can be produced in suffciently large quantities and applied, that it might counteract at least some of the deleterious and globally felt effects of Administratium.

Joe

The heaviest element known to science was recently discoveredby university physicists. The element, tentatively named"Administratium," has no protons or electrons and thushas an atomic number of 0. However, it does have one neutron,15 assistant neutrons, 70 vice neutrons, and 161 assistant viceneutrons. This gives it an atomic mass of 247. These 247particles are held together in the nucleus by a force thatinvolves the continuous exchange of meson-like particlescalled "morons." Since it has no electrons,Administratium, is inert.
However, it can be detected chemically as it impedes everyreaction with which it comes in contact. According to discoverers, a minute amount of Administratium addedto one reaction caused it to take over four days to complete.Without the Administratium, the reaction occurs in lessthan one second. Administratium has a half life ofapproximately three years, at which time it does not actuallydecay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in whichassistant neutrons, vice neutrons and assistant vice neutronsexchange places. Studies seem to show that the atomic massactually increases after each reorganization.
Research indicates that Administratium occurs naturallyin the atmosphere. It tends to concentrate in certainlocations such as governments, large corporations, andespecially in universities. It can usually be found pollutingthe best appointed and best maintained buildings. Scientistswarn that Administratium is known to be toxic andrecommend plenty of alcoholic fluids followed by bed restafter even low levels of exposure.

Unattainium is in the same transition Group as unobtainium and adjacent to
the rarer and very much more expensive Miraculum. (formerly Micarulium)
The first 2 do indeed make excellent alloys and are frequently requested by
customers. I point out they are indeed excellent but the lead time is very
long. For this reason an alloy addition of Miraculum might be preferable but

as it is strategic substance we can not supply it.

:)

Don't be so sure. I googled it and have access to several databases of
when elements were discovered and my answers don't match Dave's answers.
So Google may not take you there.

Personally, I think it was:

Administradium discovered by the famous Norwegian physicists Lars
Larson and Olaf Olafson
Unattainium discovered by their sister Lena Yurmydottir

Been sniffing chemicals this morning. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Objet : [TN] NTC - Friday Quiz Question

Hi folks - Its Friday and way too many folks are dealing with water in
either a liquid or solid form! Here is a Friday Quiz Question:

1) What element has been discovered "twice"? First in 1841 and second in
1896. Bonus points if you can name the 1841 and 1896 scientists that made
the discoveries.
