Excellent finds Joe. The Engineering Disasters segment (6 minutes I think it is) is the only TV coverage Of this problem.
I wish they'd do an update because Mike Osterman's comment (film was done in 2004) was that the industry would have a replacement for lead
by the time the ban (2006) was enacted. I'm going to send them a comment http://www.history.com/content/modernmarvels/articles
to let them know what's been happening since they did that segment. Maybe they'll update it.

If the problem with even a portion of the Toyota complaints is whiskers, I don't imagine they will
