Doug,

We've tried some of the spray cleaners in the past and didn't seem to have
the luck that you appear to be having. The first thing that always happens
is the complaints from the assemblers about the smell. The next is where do
they let the rinse go, into a trash can, onto a rag, etc.

With the two products you mentioned what is the process you use? Do you use
them in a high volume production environment?

We have some assemblies that require hand soldering of some stranded wires
with RMA and we currently use the old military "three tank alcohol" cleaning
process. We build thousands of these and I'm wondering if a product like you
suggest would work in that situation and be cost effective.

Thanks,

KennyB

Bob,
As I have told many a person here, isopropyl alcohol SUCKS as a cleaner.
Sucks sucks sucks. Horrid. Awful. Rotten. I could go on, but seem to
have misplaced my thesaurus.

I would recommend either Chemtronics Heavy Duty Flux Off (yes, that is an
actual name) or Kyzen's Cybersolv 141R.
