I researched this extensively back in 2004 to be able to solder 26 layer
boards at lower temps..
The best engineered systems I found came from here:

I visited their factory at that time , and the guy that designs that stuff
is the owner and he really knows what he is doing.

At the last 2 APEX shows I recall seeing someone with a small vapor phase
system. I recall it was about $15K. I looked through my old literature and
could not find it.
Perhaps someone knows?
I would love o get my hands on one to play with, it really seems the only
way to really hit the Lead Free process windows reliably.

clients. It is becoming more and more clear, that in order to avoid a manner
of problems caused by Pb-free soldering temperatures, the best option is to
solder with the lowest possible temperature, and that means using vapor
phase.

Can you be more specific?
The best VP system that I know, is now available from REHM and based upon
the patents of J-P Garridel (France). This employs a discontinuous
conveyorised system that minimises solvent losses.
