I used press fit pins on bare copper boards for years. There was no problem. Copper creates a passivated layer which limits the corrosion. Another good example is the bare copper aerial telephone lines still used by most of the operating companies.

Not worried about creep corrosion. Only worried about exposed pressfit
connector holes where the compliant pin will scrape the surface of the
hole wall. The compliant pin connection is gas tight, so not worried
about that, just the scraped portion left exposed. Not worried about the
portion of the hole wall that is undisturbed, as the co-deposit will be
left that prevents or resists tarnishing. The assembly will be conformal
  coated, including the holes.

How about creep corrosion? Some environments are harsh. A simple
rubber band can attack the finish. sulfur

Subject: [TN] Using Pressfit connectors on an Immersion Silver PWB

Has anyone experienced any issues with using pressfit connectors on a
circuit board that has Immersion silver finish? Do I need to worry about
any tarnishing inside the pressfit connector holes? Since there will be
no solder, the holes will remain open, and thus I was wondering if there
have been any issues with this.

I am considering using immersion silver as a finish for a high
reliability design, and I have never had issues using it with thousands
of medical and military and other applications, including
telecommunication blades where pressfit connectors were used. However,
this is a military application, and I want to know if there are any
potential issues before I commit to using it for this application.
