Thanks and good point, Mike
I think it also important to remember that there has, to the best of
anyone's knowledge, ever been a proven case of harm caused to an individual by
lead in electronic solders in normal use and at end of life properly disposed
of or recycled.
While we understand how, exactly why the EU continues to force lead-free
issue on the world at large, in the face of mounting evidence that is it
counter productive, remains as one of the great ironies of modern
environmental science and I trust will be a case study in the future about how good
intentions don't always yield good results.
One of my friends routinely adds a tag to his emails which is a quote from
Ronald Reagan. It is: "The nine most terrifying words in the English
language are: 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.'"
Kind regards
Joe
