"It depends." It depends on whether the components are sealed in a ESD
bag (they should be), storage method, environmental conditions, etc. I
am not aware of any IPC document, however the old MIL-SPECs specified
shelf life or at least Solderability duration. I am sure some of the
young at heart will jump in here....
