It's not that we WANT employees to use a hand sanitizer prior to working
on a PCB.  We're not worried about contaminating the boards with
bacteria.

 

It's simply that the hand sanitizer we're considering switching to (for
H1N1 and other diseases) happens to contain Benzalkonium Chloride,
instead of alcohol, which we currently use.  (Our local health officials
are recommending this switch)  

 

Before we make this switch, we want to make sure that the Benzalkonium
Chloride isn't going to contaminate the boards if an employee has some
residual amounts of it on their hands when they touch a board.   That's
the question I'm hoping to get answered - whether the Benzalkonium
Chloride itself can contaminate the boards.
