Hi Inge! Yep, the elongation is dependent on which type of nickel plating
bath used (i.e. Chloride, Fluoborate, Sulfamate, Nickel-Cobalt, etc) but
the values range from 10-30% per Table 1, page 314, in Modern
Electroplating, F. Lowenheim, ISBN 0-471-54968-1.

Hi Steve - I can't seem to put my fingers on the references but I believe
that the elongation of High Phos Enickel is 1-1.5% and the elongation of
electroplated nickel ranges from 10-30%. Good Luck.

Hi All,
What is the approximate difference in ductility between electroless nickel
(as used in an ENIG line - mid phos- 40 -80 micro inches in thickness) and
