There's a 3rd group:
Those that think ENIG is like a representative democracy. It's
absolutely the worst thing we've ever used -- except for everything
else we've tried.
IOW, even after having had every imaginable problem with ENIG, many
of us still think ENIG is a good (enough) surface finish and have
worked root cause corrective action successfully with suppliers.
