In theory you can ask for as much as you like, but 1.5 mil is about the
most. It is also better define 1.5mil as average minimum rather than
absoulate minimum. Anything more than that will cause other process issues.
Completely fill a via with copper plating is possible but only handful of
suppliers do it and it cost $$$$$$.

typical amount that a fab house can plated a via up to?
Would it be bad idea to complete fill a via with copper plating?
