Good morning,

We have an application where we use 1/2 inch thick G-10 as an insulator and we are finding that the machined edges are porous which is allowing a thermal transfer wax to soak into the material and cause us to fail hi-pot.

We have discussed coating all sides of this thick material with LPI or conformal coating.  The temperature range of operation is typically a maximum of 70° C and the location is in a piece of equipment in a doctor's office.

We are looking for a cost effective and simple solution for this low volume product (currently under 200 pieces per year).
