We had several discussions about cheap solutions, remember? 'Professional'
cameras, i.e. from the microscope manufacturers themselves, are very
expensive. There may be a reason for that. However, when your budget does
not fit, you are forced to make other choice. I found the below dealer for a
chinese brand. I bought two, one 3 and one 5 Megapixel, got them yesterday
and installed them immediately on a metalurgical microscope and on a stereo
one. Took a couple of minutes. I'm very satisfied with the camera and the
program. It can't cope with my former Nikon DXM1200, but it covers most that
I need. And the price is 1/15 th of the cost for a professional camera. And
the delivery is instant. And there is a whole bunch of adapters and other
things in the box. Seems as you can mount to any microscope on the market.
Smart.
