Some suppliers go to the trouble of listening to customers and are more
helpful than others, shop around.

Dear Technetters,
Anybody have any expertise designing solder preforms? I had a application in
mind, which I explained to Kester and requested application support in
designing a perform suited to the application. The reply I got was "we don't
do any design work. We just manufacture preforms per your dimensions"
Anybody out there using preforms? how did you go about designing one?....did
the manufacturer help at all? (in other words, am I expecting too much out
of Kester?)
