This stuff is a "hand sanitizer", not a "hand lotion", so impact should be dramatically less than a lotion, but not zero.

It undoubtedly contains a VERY low level quaternery surfactant, which is where it gets its sanitizing from.   Quaternery's tend to stick to skin, which should minimize transfer.

Not being in assembly, I am a little vague, but it clearly would depend heavily on what the treated hand is touching.  Most bacterial quaternery's have a chloride or bromide counter ion, which given the right circumstances give you problems.

One has to ask why anyone needs to have hands sanitized when assembling electronics?  I have never heard of a case where bacteria caused an issue, except when Dewey drops Mountain Dew on to an assembly, but the question then is whether it is the bacteria, or the MD?
