Joe,

My recommendation is the Alphatron - MPT-200A. We've had this thing for at
least 15yrs now. No service calls. Use it every day two shifts, Very nice
compact piece of gear.

[TN] crimp contact pull force tester recommendation

All,

I have been asked to recommend a crimp contact / wire pull force tester
to check crimped contacts per IPC-A-620, section 19.7. The stranded
wire gauge range is 20 to 30 awg. I worked with a pull tester at a
previous employer a few years ago.

Please share your equipment recommendations if you had to purchase a
pull tester today that would comply with IPC-A-620, class 2 and class 3
requirements. thx

Best Regards,

-Joe M.
