Suggest you also get the fab house step files for your placement
purposes.  We define our own panels to control where stresses may be
placed on near-edge parts, but give our CM's freedom to edit them to
their processes

Just a thought,
If you are also Assembling/Testing  those boards in the panel, and
possibly getting panels from more than one vendor, that are going to be
assembled/tested by the same house. It is a good idea to document that
panel so it is the same for assembly/testing programming set up.

PCB houses will often panelize for free. I let them do it.

Can anyone recommend a good PCB panelization software that can calculate
utilization for both panel size and sheet size, based upon the standard
material sheet sizes available?
