Dominic,

In my opinion, your best solution would be one of Vision Engineering's systems (Mantis, Lynx...) with the oblique viewing option.  It rotates the mirrors around the sample for you.  They have an X-Y stage too, or you could add on your own.

Hello Technetters, I would like to have your help on something.  Some of the PCBs that we assemble are thick and heavy : 14 '' X 14 '' 0.125'' thick. The problem we have is that our inspectors have difficulties manipulating them  for the inspection and with time, they got minor shoulder ache.



I would like to know if there is any equipment  we could buy that would support the PCB for the inspection under the microscope. The support  should be able to rotate the PCB on all axes.
