Never really seen the AA but all other letters have definitions.
/24 type of resin system
C1 type of copper
3 classification
Without looking up the actual y new spec I think letters now determine class
and in the IPC spec takes about Reducibility levels which are letters too!

Subject: [TN] IPC-4101 specification question

Hi all,
I have an older fabrication drawing here that has a suffix on a material
spec. that I cannot locate in the IPC spec and I was wondering if
anybody can help me out.
The material callout is "IPC-4101/24-C1/C1AA3.
What is AA3 referring to??
Thanks,
Dave Connitt CID+
