Interesting usage.

Hand place your resistor, have them vertically placed and parrel together( wish your designed package will support that), then reflow and have them glued. The SJ may not so strong, but I think it is better than a reheat process. It looks like turn "00" to "II", a thinner way.

I didn't do that before, just an immature idea :)

Subject: [TN] Component stacking


These are 2515 resitors stacked.  Has anyone ever tried this or seen it done?  
We would paste and reflow the bottom one, as normal.  Then we would solder 
the top one to the bottom one with wire and then epoxy the two of them 
together.  Any thoughts or suggestions?
