My 1960 Dailmer Dart (SP250 in the States) used 5.90 x 15 tyres and has Witworth hardware on the emergency brake pads.

Amen Mike, my 1960 Series 1 Sunbeam Alpine does not have anything metric
on
it. It's about half restored and I sure would hate to replace any
hardware
with metric.
