w/w (or w/v, v/v )is us
With respect that's an imprecise answer;

w/w (or w/v, v/v )is used where you are considering the % presence in a

compound or substance.

In the DMF this isn't (in the majority case) the case so can't class as

a w/w measurement.

Subject: [LF] REACH and DMF limits

The limit of 0.1% w/w is used in REACH regulation while 0.1 mg/kg of the

weight of the product or part of the product used in DMF directive.

They all are of chemical requirements and DMF may eventually fall into

Restricted substances of REACH regulation. Why do they use different

unit?

Thanks and regards,

Scott
