My company builds electrical medical equipment which is exempt from ROHS
until 2016. My question is: Do the service spares also need to be ROHS
compliant? I have read that if the products put on the market after
2006 the spares must be ROHS compliant. Since the equipment we build is
exempt until 2016, does that move the date for spares to be ROHS from
2006 to 2016? Another words, any service spare manufactured before 2016
will be exempt?
