Hi Lee - An equivalent statement would be ...." there is a rumor that all
Ford automobiles would no longer be manufactured...". The flux designation
ROL1 is very broad and includes a large number of flux materials. I would
not be surprised that in our current economy, that some of the flux
chemistry suppliers are going to drop some of their lower sales volume
flux formulations but I would be extremely surprised to see all fluxes
with an ROL1 designation become dinosaurs.

Heard a rumor from one of my colleagues that ROL1 solder flux would no
longer be manufactured.
I find this extremely hard to believe. Has anyone heard this rumor?
