You make it sound like halogen free laminate is somehow "more green".?? To make it UL 94 V-0, they had to add something.? So what about the nitrogen, phosphorus or aluminum related compounds that must be given off in burning?? What does it say about them?

According to the MSDS:-
CO, CO2, N-Oxides, HBr, organic bromium containing compounds. Halogen
free FR4 doesn't contain the last 2.
Some MSDS's also give small quantities of HCN and aldehydes.
