This is the reply when I asked a friend in England.
Dewey,

EN 61326 is the European Union's EMC standard for electrical equipment
for measurement, control, and laboratory use.

So has very little or no comparison to MIL-STD-1686 or ANSI/ESD-S-20.20

I don't know but the document Jeffrey might be trying to identify or
find is BS IEC 61340.

Which is the: Protection of electronic devices from ESD phenomena.

This document has a very close comparison with MIL-STD-1686 and/ or
ANSI/ESD-S-20.20.

Hope this helps

All the Best

Rich Rowe

Subject: [TN] EN61326 ESD requirements

Technetters-

Does anyone know how the requirements of IEC EN61326 compare to the ESDA
S20.20 for ESD control? We have a vendor specifying the IEC document and
our requirements are written to the S20.20 and MIL-STD-1686.

Thanks in advance for you assistance.
