When you get to the manufacturing part, design for manufacturing you may
want to call Jim MacKenzie, reference John Goulet Chase EMS.
We are a contract assembly company in Whichester MA, which builds circuit
board assemblies and chassis. We build prototypes so we may be able to help
you. 781-729-1073

Subject: [TN] Looking for manufacturer of air bag deployment modules

My son is involved with an "invent team" at Rockport High School in Rockport
Massachusetts. They have a prototype design that was accepted at MIT last
year and they are trying to refine the design for launching a small 3 pound
piece of emergency electronics. Several ideas have been looked at for
launching power, but each has some drawback. An automotive airbag
"detonator" or launch pressure generator might be a good choice. Can any of
you direct me to someone that might be able to assist in discussing this
concept?

Thanks in advance,

Phil
