Hi Ken - ok, in the spirit of Friday, here is the definition of "mummy
dust":

Mummy Dust: noun, derived from old Iowan and Wisconsinian, a slightly
grey powder substance produced by boiling the nests of storts. A stort
is a heavy set low land bird, comprised mainly of meat and feathers,
which flys in ever diminishing circles, crying "Wango, Wango". Storts
belong to the Nauga family.

OK Dave, I've been waiting for Friday to ask the question; What is
"mummy
dust"? That is one technical term that I've not heard before. Maybe it's
because I live and work on a small island in Washington State and the
dust
hasn't made it this far ;-)

Hi Vlad - Nope, based on the huge amount of testing of products for RoHS

materials, it is amazing on how much "mummy dust" is incorporated into
products for specific reasons.
