Hi Gary:

This is one of the most confusing conventions.  In the USA, 'mil' is
0.001".  Internationally it is different.  I would guess Chris is saying
the USA definition.  We need this one carefully defined so there is no
further confusion.

Chris,

Is "mil" a "mm" or "0.001inch"? The international definition of a "mil"
is "mm".
