You're right Richard, they are spendy and that's why I wasn't able to get
one.

Vic, why don't you use it for cross sections? It seems like with the right
lens and the capture capability it would be a good candidate.

The Keyence VHX600 has many cool features.   Not suited for all
application.   We currently use the 20-200x lens.   Other lenses
optional.  Not used for cross section photos.
