We are using some really neat snap-in clamps for our test fixtures. The snap-in latches allowing us to press the boards onto our spring probe fixture with a simple 2-handed motion. The quick release leavers retract the latches, and the spring probes pop the board up for easy removal from the alignment pins.
We found a quantity of these latches on some old testers, but are running out of reclaimed stock. In my web searches, I have found nothing like these handy devices, so I am going to my best search engine . . . TechNet! Can "you guys" suggest a source for these latches, or maybe similar latches?
(the picture has been sent to Steve Gregory in hopes of inclusion on his technical picture site)
Thanks,
Carl
