Steve, FYI, IPC-9252 is now 9252A as of Nov 2008. I believe there was a report on the IPC website a few weeks ago about the changes and reasoning for changes. IPC members are entitled to a free copy, so I'd say get yours if you're in IPC. Louis Hart

Subject: [TN] Inquiry on IPC-9252

Good Morning,
I've been asked to look into adding IPC-9252 "Requirements for
Electrical Testing of Unpopulated Printed Boards" to our PWB drawings.
Although we currently have electrical test requirements on the drawings
that are adequate, I'm skeptical about imposing requirements that may be
superficial. Does anyone have experience using this document? Is this
is a widely used standard? Pro's and Con's are appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Steve
