The version of that I learned was psuedo German, not French, but yours
almost looks Japanese.

I learned a long time ago that French is easily translated. For example,
here is one translation I performed while in second grade.

Saville, der dago,
Toussaint busses inaro.
Nojoe, doesis troux.
Summit coux,
En summit doux.

Translation:
Say Willie, there they go,
Thousand buses in a row.
No, Joe, those is trucks.
Some with cows,
and some with ducks.
