It is hard to find a reasonable way to measure CTE when the sample and the measuring device need to be at various temperatures. We can measure the sample outside here in Ottawa (it has warmed up to -20°C this morning). Dave you measure the sample outside in Cincinnati, and we compare it to Werner's measurement on a golf course in Florida. X, Y and Z axis of course. And Werner gets to write off the green fees as a business expense.

 Hi Dave,
there may be a 'reasonable' way, but not a sufficiently accurate one. If you want to know the CTE's of a PCB, you need to measure it-in all three directions, please.
