Normally you use a core without copper when the number of prepregs used
between cores exceeds 4, to avoid slippage in the press and maintain good
thickness control.

Hello,

Are there some rules which allow us to know when it's necessary to use a
blank material (core without copper) combined with prepreg?

What are the advantages and disadvantages if any?

Best regards.
