Hi all,

Anyone knows if there is a spec that calls out for max allowable
number of total voids in BGAs, QFNs, or LGAs? I'm not talking about
the total percentage, but there are some studies that show the number
of voids, regardless of the total percentage, would affect reliability
and performance....say, 10 small voids that total up to 15% of area,
would this be considered as a reject since this is under the IPC 25%
guideline? What's the criteria?

I know this probably was discussed before but I could not find the
thread if there is.

Thanks.

Andy
