John's correct about your parts being feed thru capacitors.  We use lots

of these parts on our products.  Most of the time we refer to them as

EMI filter or low pass filter capacitors.  The two terminals in the

middle of the sides are ground terminals.

This is easy,

It's a feed thru capacitor. It could also be an X2Y capacitopr pair but

the 

board is not layed out for minimum inductance so we are back to feed

thru.

I'm not an electrical engineer, but I do know that they are filter

capacitors used to help with EMI. We place a lot of them on quite a few

assemblies.

   I have a ceramic component, capacitor, with four solder joint

terminations.   My main concern is the component body size to copper pad

ratio.   Do they violate IPC standards?   I sent Steve G. some photos to

upload to his web page.
